In a joint operation by Lahrighat and Morigaon police in Assam had busted a Cybercrime case. Cybercriminal Sirajul Islam has been committing online crimes of crores of rupees.  

A network of cybercriminal has come to light of Morigaon District additional Superintendent of police (ASP) Samiran Baishya and on the basis of inputs the police detained wife of one Sirajul Imam. Based on her disclosure her residence was searched leading to recovery of 121 SIM cards, 18 PAN cards, 50 blank PAN cards, and about 500 blank Aadhaar cards along with five laptops, free QR codes, one iPad and many bank passbook. Sirajul Imam is absconding.  Further investigation is in progress.
